Victoria Scheyer

Victoria Scheyer is a researcher at the Gender, Peace and Security Centre at Monash University in Melbourne and at the Leibniz Institute for Peace and Conflict Research in Frankfurt. Her areas of focus are feminist peace studies, feminist foreign policy, and peacebuilding. Through her position on the board of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, she is a political advocate for human rights, gender justice, and disarmament. She is also active in political education in these areas and gives workshops, lectures and seminars for political organizations, diplomats and students. Her motivation to work as a trainer in the field comes from her conviction to work for intersectional justice.
