Naghmeh Sobhani

Naghmeh Sobhani is a senior peacebuilding and collaborative diplomacy consultant, trainer and facilitator with 25 years’ international experience. She has developed large-scale capacity-building programmes, facilitated inclusive processes in fragile and divided contexts, and designed peacebuilding frameworks and customised learning packages for UN agencies. She co-authored UNICEF HQ guidance on conflict analysis, conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding, and updated UNDP’s Nexus Academy curriculum, including the “P” module. In post-war BiH, she facilitated unprecedented multi-ethnic negotiations with all 13 Ministries of Education and convened senior education leaders for the first time since the war. She is motivated by helping practitioners translate policy into practical, context-sensitive approaches that build trust and enable dialogue.
