BigBlueButton Information & Support

The following minimum requirements are recommended for all users to use BigBlueButton from a desktop or laptop device:

1. For a laptop or desktop computer it is recommended to have a minimum of 4G RAM and a 2+ Ghz processor

2. For bandwidth, there must be at least 1.0 Mbits/second upstream and 2 Mbits/second downstream. To check your own bandwidth, you can proceed to this website: speedtest.net

3. For audio transmission, we strongly recommend to a headset. A headset ensures that the voice can be heard clearly and does not cause echoes or background noise for others (It does not need to be an expensive headset though)

4. The operating system and all drivers must be up to date

5. The latest software version of Mozilla Firefox browser or Google Chrome should be installed on the computer.
