Dr. Friederike Repnik
Trainer for Dealing with the Past
As a consultant for Dealing with the Past and a moderator, Dr. Friederike Repnik supports church and civil society organizations worldwide in processes of overcoming violence and promoting peace. Her focus lies in creating spaces for encounter and dialogue – attentive, structured, and impact-oriented.
She brings many years of experience in international cooperation (as a development worker in Colombia), the Civil Peace Service (as interim coordinator in South Sudan and advisor for Dealing with the Past), and in moderating events, conferences, and panel discussions.
With a background in social work, religious studies, psychology, and trauma pedagogy, she combines practical expertise with academic depth. In recent years, her consulting work has focused primarily on contexts such as Colombia, Central America, the Great Lakes region, Sri Lanka, South Sudan, Liberia, Israel & Palestine, Bosnia, and Cameroon.
