Barbara Winstel
Trainer for PME (Planning, Monitoring und Evaluation)
Barbara Winstel (professional background: ethnology, American studies and social psychology) held teaching positions at the LMU Munich and worked at the press archive of the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik before she went to Uganda in 2001 as a ZFD expert and then worked as a development cooperation consultant in northern Vietnam. Since late 2009/early 2010, Barbara has been working as a freelance process facilitator/trainer, consultant and systemic coach. She specializes in international cooperation, with a focus on peace work. Barbara has a total of 24 years of professional experience in the field of conflict transformation. The cornerstone of her work is the systemic approach with its clear requirement to take a resource-oriented and targeted view of systems in their entirety. Accompanying transformation processes, supporting the development and implementation of solutions and perspectives, promoting “out of the box” thinking with appreciation, empathy and humor: this is Barbara's motivation as a trainer and coach.
