Our seminar venues

Arbeitnehmer-Zentrum Königswinter

Our courses and trainings are held at the "Arbeitnehmer-Zentrum Königswinter (AZK)" situated near Bonn, Germany until December 2025. This venue was conceived as a centre of education and exchange. The seminar rooms offer a welcoming and inspiring learning atmosphere. In addition, the centre is characterised by a diverse and vibrant sense of community. This is underscored by the centre’s peaceful setting and the nearby leafy Rhine promenade, which is perfect for leisurely strolls. There are also countless charming restaurants located within walking distance along the river.

Jugendakademie Walberberg

From 2026 onwards, our events will take place at the Jugendakademie Walberberg, a conference centre located between Cologne and Bonn. The venue sees itself as a place where young people are inspired, encouraged and supported on their individual paths. The peaceful surroundings in the heart of nature, which are ideal for walks during breaks and hiking, contribute to this.

Arriving by tram:

From the south: to Bonn Central Station.

• From there, take tram line 18 (towards Brühl/Cologne) to the Walberberg stop.
• Then follow the signs for ‘Jugendakademie’ for 20 minutes
• or take the ‘Berghüpfer’ bus (bus number 745), which runs every hour at 44 minutes past the hour (cross the main road, then take the bus stop on the right-hand side; does not run at weekends).

From the north: to Cologne Central Station.

• From there, take tram line 18 (towards Bonn Central Station or Schwadorf) to the Schwadorf stop.
• Then follow the yellow signs for ‘Fußweg Jugendakademie’ for 15-20 minutes.

Trams run every 20 minutes during the day from Monday to Friday from Bonn, every 10 minutes from Cologne, and every half hour or hour in the evenings and at weekends. You can find the exact timetable at the ‘Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg’ (VRS).

The venue is located above the village at the edge of the forest, at the end of Schützenstraße, and is not the same as the Dominican monastery.

Arriving by car:

Walberberg is located approximately 5 km from Brühl on the L183 between Cologne and Bonn. In Walberberg, the route to the venue is signposted.

Please do not follow the GPS directions in Walberberg, but follow the signs! GPS may indicate the footpath.
